Hi everyone,

I have a projet in Jira for which I have created several Kanban boards.

When I create a new ticket ( eg: bug) I want my ticket to show in only 1 Kanban board and not in all of them.

Is there a feature in Jira that allows me to choose in what Kanban board my ticket will show?

Thank you very much for your help ,

Adina

Hi Adina, welcome to the Community. It is worth understanding that Kanban boards are basically filtered queries of issues within one or more projects. With that, if you wish to not have an issue displayed in one of your boards then you simply need to ensure that the filter for that board excludes those issues. To do this you need some unique characteristic, e.g. Issuetype, component, label, etc.

for example you might wish to have a unique Component for all issues that are to be excluded on one board. In which case you might have the following scenario...

board1 - project = abc

board2 - project = abc and components != Exclude-me

let me know if this does not make sense
