I am working with Jira and need assistance with two tasks:

  1. Adding a Custom Field: How can I add a custom field to the card layout in the board view? Specifically, I want to make sure this field appears on the cards displayed in the board’s.

  2. Assigning Colors to Labels: How can I assign different colors to each option in the 'Labels' field? I would like to customize the color coding for labels to better categorize and visually distinguish them on the board.

Hi @Maxi Romero,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Both of these things can be done from Board settings. From here you can modify card layout and card colors. Have a look at this KB for more information. Please note that this only works if you are in a company-managed project, team-managed project do not have these features.

@dinhduyvo as I mentioned in my post, card layout is only available in company-managed projects. The screenshot you included above is from a team-managed project which does not have the card layout option.
