How can I add a Select list (multiple choices) to an Epic in JIRA?

Hi, I'm trying to add a custom field with the field type - Select list (multiple choices) - to my Epic (Business or Software space), but I'm not able to do so. This article mentioned that it should be a standard JIRA field, but I'm not able to see it from the Field Type list, as shown in the attachment below. I am also the admin of this Team Managed space. 

Any ideas on how to enable this field type?

Hi @Mke Squires 

Based on the screenshot you show, you are in a team managed project. Create a field based on the "dropdown" option.

This will then provide the choice for single or multi select.

The article you linked, is first of all for on-premise installations and you are on cloud.

However, once I select the dropdown option, I do not have any further options for single or multi-select. Any suggestions?

I overlooked something.

You could use multi select field, but this option is not available in a Team managed space.

The workaround is to create a custom field of type multi-select, this has to be done by a Jira admin.

Then you can use this field in a Team Managed space

Can you share some screenshots of what you are currently seeing, when you are trying to add a new field ?

Hi @Rohit Utukuri , sure, this is the screen I see. This screen is shown after I select Create a New Field. 

I don't have any other options to choose from after I select Dropdown. I cannot choose any other variances of this.
