How To Change Issue Type On Backlog Page

Hi,

I can't change the issue type on a backlog page with the new UI. It's not possible to open the issue edit window by pressing 'e' anymore. How can I edit issue type without opening the issue page?

Seriously this constant and rapid change in the UI is very frustrating, My team and I end up wasting our time to re-learn and re-adjust our workflow to the changes. Starting to question whether JIRA helps the development process or add unnecessary hassle to it.
