How Do I Restore a Project From JIRA Cloud to Server?

I want to move a Project from Cloud JIRA Version 6.5 to my server JIRA instance which is running 6.3.13. Attempts to restore the backup of in a separate JIRA instance fails with the error - You are attempting to import data from JIRA 6.5-OD-05-041 which is more recent than this version. 

My question is by following the steps in the online documentation to Restore a Project from Backup, how do a circumvent this error? Is there something that I need to do differently?

I would recommend you to restore the whole back up on a different server instance (last version), and then migrate the project from one server instance to the other.
