How Can i create cards (items) in any column of a kanban on the classic JIRA SOFTWARE FREE?

I just changed from the next-gen JIRA to the classical project. But the display of a kanban on a classical project does not shows a way to create a card on any column, unless it is the first one on the left. Is there something i can do to change it?

Hi @Daniel Vergetti Unlike the next-gen projects, the classic projects (say Kanban) have workflows associated with it. You need to add statuses and transitions to the workflow and map the Statuses to the columns. 

After you modify your workflow, navigate to board settings (3 dots on top right) -> map statuses to the columns.

Im sorry. I tried to understand it, but it is too complicated for something that should be simple. 

I dont want to waste too much time with this programing. I wasnt able to edit the columns or status etc.
