I have a Jira server which is synchronized with Microsoft Active Directory for user authentication. In Microsoft server I use LDAP Workstation Logon Restrictions for AD Users (Log On To). Let’s say the active directory server name is dc01.

If I add “dc01” in “logon to” list then the users can log into Jira server. But when I remove “dc01” from the “logon to” list then the users are not able to login to Jira.

Adding dc01 to the logon to list has some security risks.

How Can I use AD authentication in Jira without adding dc01 to “logon to” list?

Thank you

No, by definition, the authentication system needs to be able to be logged into.
