How Can I remove an issue from epic?

Hi,

I created an epic and added some issues into it. Now I want to remove one of them from that epic but there is no option to move.

When I try to empty the epic link, it says epic link is locked so I can not see the link and leave it empty.

How can I remove this one issue from my epic ?

You need to clear the Epic Link field in the issue you want to remove from the Epic's scope!

There is no epic link field :)

But I solved it, epic link type changed to "parent link" so I added this field and remove the parent link.

Looks like they renamed epic link to parent link, it takes time to figure out, I think jira team needs to update this UI.

Yes, you're right—you needed to clear the Parent Link field.

By the way, this is an expected change. The Jira Team has merged Epic Link and Parent Link into a single field: Parent Link (see Upcoming changes: 'epic-link' replaced with 'parent').
