I created a custom field called "Special Item#s". I can display this custom field in my Queue.
How can I edit the information in this custom field for a specific ticket?
After creating the custom field, ensure it is associated with the correct screen so you can manually edit it once an issue/work item belongs to the project where the screen is used.
A great feature for quickly adding a custom field to wherever it needs to be visible is to use the "Find your field" option, as shown in the capture below. This will guide you to whatever might be missing when trying to find and edit a custom field in a certain screen and project.
