Please let us know about communication channels used by Atlassian for JIRA tool users.

Welcome to the Community!!

Slack Channel or MS Teams can be easily integrated if you are referring to an external communication tool being integrated.

Otherwise, Jira has the capability to notify users via email on any events that are triggered such as the assignment of Issues, @ mentions, issue updates, etc.
