Ho to Migrate user stories from Team project to Company based project with old JRIA ID reference

Hi Team,

We have more than 1000 user stories which are loaded in Team based project whereas the requirement is to work on Company based project.

I understand there is an article which provided steps to migrate between "Team maanged project to Company managed project but i needed confirmation if the old JIRA ID will be maintained or when we migrate the JIRA ID's would change?

For example our current team managed Jira ID's have pre-fix  "XXX-001"
post migration is it possible that JIRA ID & pre-fix remains unchanged?? if not then what is recommended in this situation??

@[deleted] If you are moving a ticket from One project to another, definitely the prefix will change because that is the reference to identify to which project it belongs.

If you are migrating from one instance to another, might be u can name the project name same and achieve the same. But you cannot define the ticket number. 

Might be you can add one more Custom Field as Project Name and update the project name for reference.
