Hierarchy in Timeline

My Epic has the follow structure:

But in the timeline the hierarchy doesn't work:

Timeline works only for sub-tasks.

Epic hierarchical levels do not show on Business (Work Management) Projects at this time, including on the Timeline view.

Welcome to the community.

Are you working with the Timeline feature in a Business project?

It will say near the top of the left-side navigation pane what type of project it is (Business, Software, etc.) below the project name.

I found this post where @John Funk commented in January that Atlassian is aware of that as a change request. I have not found a link to the change request in Atlassian's backlog.
