Hide Epics from Backlog (everything marked as Done)

Joe Macari May 29, 2024

Hi, I have a number of Epics which have been completed. I have marked the epic and each task as done. However I can still see the Epics in my Backlog Epic list. How can I remove these? Everything I have read online seems to tell me that these should remove themselves once this has been done.

Thanks,

Joe

Hello @Joe Macari

Is this for a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project?

For a Scrum board or a Kanban board?

There is an issue with Team Managed projects removing "done" Epics from the Epics panel of the backlog. Does this apply to you?

Yes this is similar to my issue. We dont have 2 done statuses but we do have 2 transitions in the workflow to Done. I have tried removing one of the transition for new epics so will see how we get on with that.

I will also need to look into the automation suggestion in that article to see if that will help

Do you want additional help from the community on your investigation? If so could you tell us:

Is this for a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project?

For a Scrum board or a Kanban board?

And can you share a copy of the Workflows that you use for the Epic and for each of the other types of issues, if different issue types use different workflows?

Can you also show the Columns/Status mapping configuration for your board?
