We subtask a lot in meetings and our subtasks only have required values of Project, issue type, reporter, and summary - all of which are added when we do the quick create function on a story ticket. Been working great for years.
However, about a month ago, hitting create on a subtask started opening up the create issue model, instead of just creating the subtask. This is a huge pain in the butt, especially when I'm trying to work quickly on a call.
how do i turn it off? I just want the old workflow back

Okay, thanks. If you didn't add them, it is strange that they now require the pop-up. You might want to open a support ticket with Atlassian to find out why.
