Hi, for Jira on cloud, do I need Jira server ?

I bought JIRA server, and I want everything to be on the cloud, did I got the wrong SW, do I need to cancel my license and get a new license for another version of JIRA ?

Yes, you got the wrong thing.  JIRA Server licences are for running your own server.  I would sign up for Cloud and get started in there, then contact https://support.atlassian.com about getting your Server licence cancelled
