Hi, Is there a Role with very minimal permission. Can only View and take action on item assigned.

Currently there are 3 Roles- Administrator, Developers, Users. These roles allow to view all items in the project. But is there any other Role with very minimal permission. This new role should only be able to View and take Action on items which he/she is assigned to. Other items cant be viewed.

Welcome to the community

As an admin you have the ability to give/remove all permission you want to a specific role, there is no role that will suit your requirement by default in Jira. You need to create it.

But in your case i will go with issue security level
