Hey ATL why did you remove the "Find my field" feature?

This is functionality that I've used since using Jira Server and have found one of the most useful features to understand why certain fields aren't showing on a specific screen.

It appears this feature is being removed. I don't have access to it anymore on my free or paid personal sites.

Any reasoning as to why this useful functionality has been removed?

I can confirm I'm still seeing the option in my site that's on Jira Premium, but is no longer available on any of my Free or Standard plan sites.

From my experience things are "tested" on the lower tiers before being rolled out to the higher ones. An example of this is that all my Free Jira sites currently have Projects renamed to Spaces while my paid environments still show Projects.

So question for Atlassian, is the "Find my field" feature being removed or just only available on Premium and higher from now on?

Hi @Dutchie ! That gave me a jumpscare so I checked on my cloud instance (Jira Premium Plan) and "Find your field" option was still available.

I recommend opening a Support Case with Atlassian to get this sorted out.

I don't think it's a tech but a product issue. It seems it's only been removed from plans lower than Premium at the moment.

Hi @Dutchie

This is a great feature, it's sad if it is getting removed.
