Help Upgrading Jira to Version for export to cloud hosted

Description

I have a self hosted version of jira V6.2
I want to move to you cloud hosting
I exported the data but this would not import to the cloud hosted instance.
I upgraded my 6.2 to 7.5 this failed ----- too big a jump.

Q what is the least version of Jira I can export/import to the cloud host ?
Q can I get to that version from 6.2 directly or do I need an intermediate step.

You need to upgrade to 6.4, then 7.0, then 7.7, then the export and import on Cloud will work.

Thanks for your prompt reply

You suggest that I need to go as far as current release 7.7 before the import will work?

Would 7.0 not import?

No.  We recently tried a 7.5 to Cloud direct and that failed, and needed to go to 7.7
