Hello All, I was looking for the options to create more than one backlog on one board.

We have a project that has 2 product backlogs already (one of which is the archived backlog and the other is the current backlog). I wish to add another backlog that would be called sprint backlog which would be for prioritizing for the next sprint. Is there an option to create more backlogs for one board?

Hello @Rashmi Khatuja

Welcome to the community.

There is not an option to create more than one "Backlog" on a given board.

Can you explain how your backlog for prioritizing the next sprint would be different from the full backlog? Typically in Scrum your next sprint would take the items prioritized at the top of your backlog.

Please explain more about your scenario and how the existing functionality for Backlog management doesn't meet your needs.

It's a bit deeper than "can't have more than one backlog".  The backlog is not something you add to a board, it's a different view of the issues the board includes!  You can't have more than one, because the backlog IS the board.

The backlog is the list of issues selected for the team's attention.  The board is the same thing, but limited to the issues the team have chosen to work on.

But as @Trudy Claspill says - what is the reason for wanting a backlog and a not-backlog here?
