Having to re-authenticate Rovo MCP every day is a dealbreaker

Hi, we would love to use the official Atlassian MCP for many things, but having to oauth every day is a huge concern. Please add support for using an API token so we can stay logged in and use it in bot services.

Thanks for your feedback!  Currently only OAuth is supported a means of authorization.  There has been some internal discussions around the support for API tokens within the Rovo MCP, however those discussions are still very early on.  

If this is something your interested in I would recommend reaching out to our Support Team and file an issue for the Atlassian Rovo MCP Server product.  Our Support Team should be able to pass your interest along to the proper channels so our team can gauge interest in this type of functionality.
