Having a common Timestamp in all user comments on a Jira tickets?

When last user comments on Jira Ticket, all the previous comments gets updated with same timestamp of last comments timestamp.
Any help or suggestion, would be appreciated.

Hi Yaswanth,

That sounds like a broken piece of automation, broken database, or some larger problem that is going to be hard to diagnose here. You should contact Atlassian or an Atlassian Partner for support.
You can also:

  • review all automation/scripting/etc to look for something manipulating comments or dates.
  • Increase logging on comments to see if anything surfaces. Probably want to trigger the problem during a low usage time and while tailing logs.
  • Turn on SQL logging within Jira to see if anything surfaces.
