I wanted to configure a Kanban and a scrum board in teh same project space. Would there be any concerns
The Kanban is more for the POCs and the scrum is more for the development teams?
I know the methods are different
Thank you
HI Angana,
Boards are just visual representations of your issues - there's nothing really magical about them. You can create them and delete them without affecting the individual issues. So, yes, you can create both a Scrum board and a Kanban board (or multiple Kanban boards) on the same project.
Adding to John's answer...
You describe using separate Kanban and Scrum boards to manage separate work for the team(s). Please check that your board filters are different enough that the same issues do not appear on both boards. Otherwise this might confuse the teams when one team moves work intended for others.
Kind regards,
Bill

There are no concerns. Boards are independent visualizations of filters and actually have nothing to do with the Jira project other than it must be attached to one project to be seen.
It is very common to have multiple boards in one Jira project where each board has a specific purpose like incident/defect management, incoming request verification, test boards and so on.
So go right ahead and try it out :)
