I created a new Jira Software board.
I'm sure that when I wanted to add swimlanes or do anything with the board, I'd go to configure board when in it and from there I can add what I want
What it does now is;
Go to Configure Board and the only thing I can see is "Columns and Statuses"
No swimlanes, no other options I can see.
I assume that it's been moved somewhere, but I've been clicking on absolutely every button I can see for over an hour and it appears to be impossible to add, change or even view swimlanes..
Sorry, found out how to do this - I had to create a company managed board instead of a team managed board.
So now I can see all the stuff.
Not sure why a team managed board wouldn't want swimlanes?
Thankyou! This was driving me nuts. Of course I don't have the rights to create a company managed project so I still cant create swimlanes...

Hi @XineBBSA
from my observation it is indeed wanted to bring them into team-managed projects. However, this is something yet to come.
You could vote for the corresponding suggestion:
