When clicking on Link work item, the cursor jumps to the field where one enters the details of the Jira ticket.
However, when clicking Link confluence content, we are left where we are, and we need to scroll down to the newly created field to enter the details of the Confluence document.
How can one ask for a change in the processing of the creation/changing of the Jira ticket — so that when clicking Link Confluence content, the cursor will also jump to the field where one enters the details of the Confluence document?

For clarification can you provide screen images to illustrate your experience with the "Link Confluence Content" option? In my Jira Cloud instance I don't actually see an option labeled "Link Confluence content". Instead I see options for Page and Whiteboard, which are Confluence content types.
And when I click the Link option for each one, my screen does scroll to take me to a field for that entry.
I am using Chrome as my browser. If you are not using Chrome, which browser app are you using, and have you tried Chrome?

In general to get a change request back to Atlassian there are a couple of options available to you.
You can click on the Help button (near your avatar) in Jira and select the Feedback option to provide feedback directly to Atlassian.
You can escalate the request to the Administrators of your Jira instance. They can decide if they want to escalate it to Atlassian and open a support case if they do want to escalate it.
