I am looking to actually using JIRA as I go through my certification process. Are there Lab or a training site that I could use to set up boards, swimlanes etc...

Hi @Joseph Olson and welcome to the Community!  You can create and utilize your own free Jira Cloud site here.  The free version is somewhat limited in some of the advanced features but it should definitely suffice for training.  Be sure to compare the various plans for the features available in each.  https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing
