Groovy Script for making priority field mandatory

[Requirement]

We are having few "Priority" field in my JIRA instance(created long back). One user is using a particular custom "Priority" field for their project. We wanted to make this field mandatory while creating the subtask issue in the project.

[Alreday Tried]

I have tried to achieve through "Required Field" validator but only one "Priority" field is showing over their and that is system default one.

Please help me with this.Thanks!

You could create field configuration where this field is mandatory and assotuate this filed configuration to subtask issue type into a project.
