Got an error message "JIRA version 8.13 reached End of Life on Oct 7, 2022."

Is cloud the only way or there are any other options. Currently on prem as we have HIPPA related data in our Jira environment. also Jira is integrated with AD, email notification, time entry etc etc... we have sent a lot of time and resources on Jira to be in a position where we are & happy with the existing version......but are not being forced to used cloud.??? Any suggestions besides looking for another tool. Thanks

Jira server will be supported up until February 2024, so the warning you get is for the version you are currently on.

If you don't want to move to cloud, then you can always move to Jira DC as the last self-hosted solution. As of now, as far as I know, there are no public plans from Atlassian to end that offering.

Even after end of support date, if you don't want to migrate, you can still use your server version, it will just not be supported by Atlassian.
