Google Apps and Atlassian Account

How is Google Apps integration affected by this new Atlassian Account thing?

Our user are log in with their Google Apps account. Do we need to do anything in order to keep it this way?

Also curious how we should handle JIRA Users versus JIRA SD customers? Do I sync everyone or just the JIRA Users?
