Global permissions

Vijay Patil December 20, 2022

We have an endpoint registered in Jira which is to whitelisted. For this, need global permissions to work on Allowlist page. We didn't find Allowlist link, even though we are Administrator.

Appreciate quick help.

Hello @Vijay Patil

Welcome to the community.

Are you working with Jira Cloud or Jira Server/Data Center?

Are you talking about the Allowlist configuration described here?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-the-allowlist-1014667309.html

Can you provide more context for "need global permissions to work on Allowlist page"?

@Trudy Claspill

    Thanks for reply.

    We create a Jira ticket by calling Jira Rest API. When Jira person works on the ticket and changes the ticket status, Jira should call our webhook(our Rest API endpoint), so we will come to know the ticket status and accordingly update the database.

    So, we have configured the our Rest endpoint(webhook) in Jira by using "Automation" screen. Then came to know that the webhook must be whitelisted, to do this, there is a link, Administration > System > Allowlist. But, for us, this link is not available. What we have is, Administration > Projects.

    Also, came to know that only System Administrator can give this link to us.

    We have raised the support ticket for this, got reply also. So, discussion is going on.

Thanks,

Vijay Patil
