If you are already using another GRC application they may have an integration built into there product for Jira already (this is the best way to do it). Not all vendors support Jira but more and more are.
As of 2025, there are even more GRC-focused apps available in the Atlassian Marketplace that support compliance automation, risk management, and audit tracking.
If you’re looking for a Jira-native approach for Data Center, we’ve been working on Cat the Compliant https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1236597?tab=overview an app that helps teams track audits, manage GRC supporting SOC 2 and ISO.
