We want to browse files from GIT in JIRA issues. Accessing 'Github-Jira integration' and 'Git integration for Jira' plugins, able to add branch, pull req, and commits are visible related to repositories...but unable to view or access files from repositories in jira...is this even possible/how can we achieve this?

The Repository Browserin Git Integration for Jira Cloud app allows users to view git repositories of configured projects via the Git menu on the Jira dashboard and it only supports displaying of commits from a repository and compare branches.
I would suggest you to go through this documentation to know more about the settings / permissions part of this app.
