From sprint - How to open ticket as modal instead of sidebar?

Clicking on a ticket was opening the details as a modal. Now it's a sidebar.
How to I control what it does?

I guess, you turned off the new issue Jira view option. Go to your Avatar -> Profile. Find the Labs menu in the page and turn on the new Jira issue view option.
