Forge apps as a side hustle

Hello i'm a full-stack dev by day and I've been working with Forge and ScriptRunner long enough that I think I could build something people would actually pay for. Nothing crazy — just something that brings in a bit of extra income on the side. B2B Marketplace apps seem like the obvious play given my background.

Before I sink my evenings and weekends into this — is it still worth it in 2026, or has the Marketplace gotten too crowded for solo devs to break in?

You might be able to build a Forge app, however you can only list it if you have a company, i.e. as a person you can't list a new app.
