For some reason Jira Roadmap gadget on the Dashboard doesn't show real progress.

Deleted user March 10, 2021

Hello,

For some reason Jira Roadmap gadget on the Dashboard doesn't show real progress.

It is displayed red and says 0 of 54 issues resolved:

issue 1.png

Although if I go directly to the version details it says different:

issue 2.png

In the gadget settings there are:

  • Projects: selected
  • Days (period to cover): tried 30, 100, 400 - same result...
  • Number of Results (pagination): 10
  • Refresh Interval: Never

For some projects this gadget works correctly and displays reals progress, but not for this one. What is the issue or peculiarity for this gadget to work correctly?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Sandra

Hello @[deleted],

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Testing on my local site, I was able to replicate this issue and I found out why it shows Done in the Releases/Versions page and not on the gadgets.

On the gadget, it will show “Done” tickets that have a resolution. If a ticket is on a Done status but without a resolution, for the gadget, it will be considered unresolved.

Please, go to the Releases/Versions page and click on the Issues done > View in Issue Navigator.

On this page, you can confirm if the tickets have a resolution.

To fix this issue, it will be necessary to reopen and then transition the issues to Done. If it’s a classic project, make sure that there is a screen for the Done status with Resolution as required or a Post Function on the workflow that sets the resolution automatically.

If it’s a next-gen project, the very last column is the one that sets the resolution, so you just need to move to an “In progress” status and then move back to the last column.

If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know.

Kind regards,
Angélica
