Fix version description

In JIRA cloud, is it possible to view the fix version description without viewing the release page? For example, when a fix version is attached to a story ticket, I used to be able to hover over the fix version and the description would be shown. Now, in JIRA cloud, I am not seeing any description. For my team, I keep the start and end dates of the fix version listed in the description. I do not want this detail in the fix version name. Thanks very much.

Sadly no, Jira does not currently provide way to view a Fix Version description by hovering over the Fix Version field in ticket. Users can access the Release details by going to release tab (show list of release) 

or by clicking the fix version selected (open the release selected)
