Filtering epics by versions not working

When I select a version on a backlog, I expect that the epic lists would be filtered to the only ones associated with the selected version. But it is not working that way - all my epics are grayed out when I pick a version. I made sure that I have fixver. associated with epics. How can I make this version filter work?

----------

  • Filtering by version takes precedence over filtering by epic. This means that if you have a version selected on your board (see Planning a Version), then epics that do not have any issues in the version will be greyed out.

@Dave Suzuki, did you ever get this resolved? We are experiencing same thing.
