Filtering checkboxes

We have a checkbox type field in our Jira instance with >16 options. We now want to filter this by a) Jiras with only one option checked; and b) Jiras with more than one option checked. Since there are more than 16 options (with the possibility of it growing further) is there an easier way to do this in JQL?
