Filter if a value is present

Hello,
we have a custom field in Jira (text, single line) where repetitive transaction numbers are entered that are used in different issues. We want these issue numbers to be displayed in a dashboard via a gadget.
Now when I create a filter on this field, the number of _all_ issues is reported.
Question: is it possible to filter only the presence of such a value - so even if there are 100 issues using this transaction number, only a "1" is displayed if the value is present?

If this goal cannot be achieved with a text field, a field with a different type can be created.

Thank you very much for your ideas! :-)

Hi @DWedekind

To be candid, I am using Jira Cloud now and have not used server in years...that being noted:

I do not believe there are summary gadgets like that built-in, so you may want to investigate options from the marketplace or consider building your own gadget(s).

Kind regards,
Bill
