Filter by assignee with selection

On the Classic planning mode, we were able to select assignee from a drop-down and filter issues. On the Jira Agile, how can I do the same without having to edit a quick filter with a different assignee each time. I would like to be able to select an assignee and filter.

Could you elaborate on swimlanes based on assignee? I am not familiar with swimlanes.

Will swimlanes based on assignee help? There is no dynamic option for quick filters AFAIK.
