Filling in fields for creation screen

Hi,

I'm trying to fill out some fields for users during issue creation.  However after the url is posted it complains about some required fields.  Here is my URL:

http://XXX/jira/secure/CreateIssueDetails!init.jspa?pid=11712&issuetype=44&description=Reproduced

Is there anyway to stop the validation from happening so that there are no red boxes at the top of the users screen?

Thanks for the response Benito but the fields are required to create the issue.  I can't change that behavior.  I just want to be able to create a partially filled in ticket for my users to use as a base for certain ticket types.

Hello Cynthia,

I'm not sure if this is an option for you, but you can remove the "required" trigger from the fields, as is explained in this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Fields+and+Screens
