Fieldtyp URL Field - default value - more than 255 characters

have reached limits with this simple matter ..... how can I set URL with more than 255 characters default in custom field "URL field"?

I'm afraid this is not possible, is hard coded, and we had a feature request for this that was closed

Workaround

Use URL shortener to make shorter URLs
