I have had couple of JIRA users report that fields that were in use in their projects just vanished from the projects. I had to go add the fields onto the screens again for them to be able to work with it again. I upgraded JIRA from 7.13 to 8.5.2. These changes were noticed in the following week. Are there any such known issues? How can this be taken care?
