Fields locked - Assignee, reporter

I am looking at old project boards and trying to change the assignee of closed tickets and the field assignee which is usually editable, is not.

Community moderators have prevented the ability to post new answers.

The Edit button is not available for closed issues as they cannot be edited by default.

But there is a workaround on how to do it - How do I edit closed issues?
