Field Type "Email Address" for Custom Fields

Are you going to introduce the field type "Email Address" with reworking the fields experience as well?

Quite often we have specifically one or multiple email address which i want to store in a field.

right now i can only do this as text field, which obviously will allow users to put any text into the field

This is based on API changes.
