Field Appears Blank After User Enters Data

We have users that are experiencing the following issue:

User populates choice into single select and/or multi select fields. User goes back into project and notices that the single select field will revert back to blank/none or multi select field will revert to None. 

Has anyone in the Atlassian Community experienced this?  If so, what type of fixes were applied to resolve this matter?  Please share.

Do you have any workflow postfunction or listener or behaviour that could modify your issue?

@Gustavo Félix   No we do not have any post functions or listeners setup through our workflows to clear any fields for these customers.
