Extract User Story from Self Hosted Jira

We are using self-hosted jira. Is there any way we can extract our User Story from outside of the system.  Please guide me if anyone have idea.

@Swaym - What do you mean "extract our User Story from outside of the system" ? Are you referring to exporting the issue to an excel from your system or importing the issue into your JIRA from an external system? Kindly clarify
