I'm using Jira/Xray Cloud and I wanted to export a project test cases including all the steps to Excel for non Jira users.
Do you have an idea how I can do that?
Thanks
You can export Xray tests with their test steps to an Excel sheet like the one below, using the Better Excel Exporter - Xray integration.
You can select the work item fields to include (left columns) and it will attach the test details automatically (right columns). There are several other export templates shipped with the app. You can customize those or create another from scratch.
(Discl. the exporter app is paid, supported and developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)
Hi @Mguiss, Anis (AllianzGI) ,
X-Ray has an in-built document exporter, that allows us to export test cases with the steps.
Try using the "Offline Test Exporter" And see if that fulfills your use case.

I prefer another solution than Document exporter.
Can you please tell me more about the Offline test exporter?

Hi @Mguiss, Anis (AllianzGI) ,
Offline test exporter is actually a template in the document exporter.
Document generator can also be customized to have the desired formats, perhaps that might be of help?
"Test Steps" Are a x-ray specific field, so it won't be visible in the regular Jira Filter view. You might need to raise a ticket with X-ray support to get more info on this if the Document Exporter isn't the way you want to go.

In Jira Cloud, create a filter that displays the issues you want to export, Change the view to list view, amend the columns so that it is showing "Test Steps". Save the filter
Then choose Export to csv(Filter Fields) from the export menu
If you need some screenshots let me know and I'll add some

Yes it will be very helpful if you can provide some screenshots as I don't have "Test Steps" in my list.
