Expose Epic Sum Up via JQL query

Deleted user August 18, 2020

Hi, there are numerous Epic sum-up plugins and methods. None though that I can find where I can expose/extract via a JQL query to render on a Confluence page. How do I acheive this?

I don't have the ability to access the database via Rest API or anything fancy like that. I need a plugin from the marketplace if it exists.

Thanks

Hi @[deleted]

What do you mean by "sum up"? If it is some field in the children of the epic/parent, you can find scripting add-ons to enhance JQL for that.  Please ensure that any tools you find can also provide the Jira data to Confluence (and not just to Jira).

If you want to have more control over what is adding, and how it is doing it, you could use the built-in automation features of Jira to sum values into custom fields, and then present those in Confluence.  Here is some documentation on the automation to help you consider it:

Best regards,

Bill
