I would like to export all tickets into a CSV.  Some of these tickets have links to other issues.  I've selected the fields I would like to export and then selected the CSV (Current Fields).  when the file is exported, all the links are in it's own fields (outward, inward).

What I would like is to export these links into one field, like the way it displays on screen before I do the export.  is that possible?

Hi @j hong

welcome to the community!

If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, my team and I work on another app that you might like: JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields - including your issues' issue links - much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. Of course, you can also export your table to Excel/Google Sheets or CSV in just one click. As the issue links column is highly configurable, you have full control over which data is included in the export.

This is how it looks in action:

I should add that JXL can do much more than the above: From support for bulk editing via copy/paste, to configurable issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes

@j hong The built-in CSV exporter will break them to separate columns and it cannot be changed.

The Better Excel Exporter app will extract all issue links to a single Excel cell, as you described! See column "P" here:

But with this app, you can still export them to separate columns, so you can choose the preferred "layout" at your wish:

(Disc. this is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)
