What is the best or easiest way to export a Jira kanban board to a Microsoft PowerPoint slide?

Hi Alexander,

There's no native "export board to PowerPoint" feature in Jira, so a few practical options depending on what you need:

1. Simple and quick, take a screenshot of the board and paste it into a slide. Fine for a one-off status update, though it's just a static snapshot, not live data.

2. Better quality, use browser print-to-PDF on the board view, then screenshot or crop from the PDF, tends to render cleaner than a raw screen capture, especially on wider boards.

3. If this is recurring, a Marketplace app like "Table Filter and Charts for Confluence" combined with Confluence's Jira macro can build a live board-style view, then you export that page to PDF or image, some teams link that into PowerPoint for semi-live embedding.

4. For something fully dynamic and always current, eazyBI or similar reporting apps can produce board-equivalent visuals, but it takes setup and isn't a one-click export.

If this is a regular reporting need rather than a one-off, might be worth checking if your team already has a Confluence-based status page workflow you could tie into instead of manually re-exporting each time.

thank you Varun! This will be part of a recurring slide so I'm almost resigned to the fact that cutting-and-pasting a few lines in Jira from several cards in a kanban will be the past of least resistances... sigh.

Totally get it, manual copy-paste is the path of least resistance short-term. Since you mentioned it's recurring though, it might be worth a one-time setup of the Confluence + Jira macro page (option 3), once it's built, it's just re-export instead of re-copying cards each time, could save you a lot of the repetitive pain down the line.
